Port of Miami is one of the largest cruise ports in the United States. This port offers parking terminals and many transportation options. each cruise line has its own terminal.

Getting there
Port of Miami is a very short drive from Miami International Airport. It is also around 45 minute to one-hour drive from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. While some cruise line will offer shuttle service, it tends to be more expensive than other options. My recommendation is to use rideshare services from the airport. But if you are flying a day before like I suggest, getting a ride share service from your hotel.
Leaving the port of Miami
After you are done with a cruise you can use rideshare services, shuttles, and taxis. Keep in mind, there are a lot of ships so you will probably have surge pricing when using rideshare services. Also, the wait time is very long as the number of cars trying to enter the port is excessive during those times. I remember it took me almost an hour to get an Uber to come. If you have an early flight let customer service on the cruise know so you are in the first wave of the passengers that are leaving the ship.
